Employment Outlook and Salary

According to the U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment within the financial and business operations sectors are set to increase by 8% between 2014 and 2024.

In an increasingly sophisticated market, candidates holding advanced degrees and relevant experience will have a distinct advantage over those who don’t.

While figures vary based upon skills, expertise and experience, a business development manager in the US can expect to earn on average, around $70,000 per annum. In the UK, business development managers can expect to earn an average of £34,130 per year.
