Christine Corson Named a Finalist for the Women in Sales Awards 2019

Date: 25 June 2019

We are thrilled to shares that DSJ Global Senior Vice President, Christine Corson, was a finalist in this year’s Women in Sales Awards for the category “Best Woman Sales Director”. This award recognizes excellence in sales management and team development. Finalists in this category not only had to demonstrate strong sales performance, but also how they executed team development, retention, leadership development, motivation, coaching, training, and how they meet targets and track programs they implement for their teams. Corson also had to show how she works with other parts of their organization to achieve company goals.

As the head of DSJ Global nationally, Corson not only demonstrates these strong sales and leadership qualities, but also serves as a role model and mentor for other women in the business. Reflecting on her experience applying for and being chosen as a finalist for the Best Woman Sales Director Award, Corson said the following.

“Exactly four years ago this month, I moved to NYC and took my first job in a sales role with Phaidon International. Growing up, I never thought I would become a recruiter. When I entered this industry, I never would have imagined then that in just a few years I would distinguished as a top revenue generator, and would have achieved several promotions, allowing me to start building one of the most successful sales teams in our organization.

I was humbled when I was first nominated for this award by our Executive Director. The awards process allowed me to step back and acknowledge my success and evolution as a salesperson, manager, and business head. I am grateful for the unique opportunity I have had to develop a business and influence careers, for both my team and the clients we support.

I believe that DSJ Global, as part of the Phaidon International group, is a business of exceptional people. I am truly grateful for my nomination, and that I have been included among such a distinguished and accomplished group of finalists. I think this will have an impact within my organization and will inspire me to be a better mentor and role model for other women in the business. It is important for companies to take the opportunity to acknowledge and nominate the brilliant women who drive their businesses.

Being included as a finalist for Best Woman Sales Director, sends an incredible message not only to women in my company, but all women beginning their sales careers. If you work hard and have determination, you will be recognized. Leading by example, I hope to help other women find the same confidence, drive, and independence in sales that I have gained.”
