Account Supervisor: Pharmaceutical Advertising

The Account Supervisor owns the client relationship and acts as brand steward. This position reports into senior leadership and offers excellent visibility within the group. Success in this position is a product of detailed industry knowledge of the drug lifecycle and a natural passion for client relationship management.

Prior agency experience in Healthcare/ Pharmaceutical Advertising experience is required for consideration.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will maintain ongoing positive client relationships, address client needs, and represent the agency on day-to-day related tasks.
  • Provide clients with market insights and offer advice based on brand strategies, activities, and market trends.
  • Prepare proposals, project briefs, and concept documents to review ongoing projects and compliance.
  • Understand the brand strategy and provide your team with client expectations and insights throughout the development process.
  • Work together with senior medical lead on brand tactics, brand content, and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and client agency partners
  • Maintain regular contact with VP, Account Services to report on account status, financial estimates, and prioritize work flow.
  • Support account services team in onboarding and training.
  • Understand the regulations of the AMA, OIG, and PhRMA where applicable.
  • Maintain active role in generating new areas of focus for business development and submit proposals where appropriate.
  • Works with client and internal stakeholders to define project scope of work and develop budgets and track and manage project change orders.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date financials and billings across assigned accounts, based on SOW billing terms/milestones and provides regular financial updates to client and supervisor.
  • Coordinate and communicate budgetary concerns/ alterations on a regularly scheduled basis to identify scope and parameters of project.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of medical communications agency experience is required.
  • Excellent analytical skills, leadership, and strategic thinking.
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams to develop business.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Must be willing/ able to travel for meetings as required (up to 20%)
