Associate Director, Clinical Development  Needed for Expanding Biotech

An expanding biotech company is looking to hire an AD of Clinical Development that would be able to translate clinical research concepts into specific study protocols, objectives, and activities to achieve program goals. This role will be focused on the company's rare disease programs.
The company prefers for organic growth so there is no ceiling for career progression. This is strictly an expansion hire; it is something that will be tailored around the right candidate.

The AD of Clinical Development will have responsibilities that include:
  • Developing and writing clinical protocols for early phase clinical studies
  • Participate in product development team meetings as well as conferences
  • Track completed CRFs and set up systems where CRFs are entered rapidly into the system
  • Managing CRO and third party vendors by developing working relationships
  • Establish and maintain SOPs for conduct of clinical research
  • Sponsor and vendor management
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
  • 7+ years in pharmaceutical research
  • Experience in clinical research leadership and management
  • Experience with early phase clinical protocol development
  • Must have experience in neuroscience, CNS, or rare disease clinical trials
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Advanced scientific degree strongly preferred
