A well established Global Medical Device/Pharmaceutical company is looking for a Associate Director, Drug Safety Drug Safety Physician to join their Pharmacovigilance team! This company is a world leader in diagnostic imaging. This role will allow the individual to utilize their scientific/medical background all while acting as a liaison to various cross functional teams.

The Associate Director, Drug Safety Drug Safety Physician will have the following responsibilities:

Provides medical review and evaluation of safety information and adverse event reports for both marketed and investigational medicinal products and medical devices. Performs scientific review and evaluation of individual and aggregate adverse events reports, and assesses them in accordance with appropriate regulations/guidelines and internal procedures.  Supports department staff in all phases of drug safety operations to assure compliance with appropriate domestic and international regulations. Ensure scientific input into safety profile of company products and identification and evaluation of safety risks throughout product life cycle. Act as the Safety Expert of the products under the Modality Area of responsibility.
  • Performing signal detection and management for local and global products
  • Draft sections of aggregate reports/Risk management plans
  • Perform medical review of AE’s
  • Collaborate with other teams
  • ICSR's
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
  • MD
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in Pharmaceutical industry or CRO
  • 3 years Pharmacovigilance experience, with clinical experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Medical Device Experience
