A full-service Contract Research Organization (CRO) providing a broad range of clinical research services to biotech, pharma, and medical device companies globally is seeking candidates for a newly created Associate Director of Clinical Operations role. The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience and interest in performing business development activities along with building up a small clinical ops group.

  • Manage and grow a group of PM, CRA, CTA, and Medical Monitors.
  • Oversee clinical sites and company interactions regarding clinical operations.
  • Assist with business development activities by utilizing personally developed industry contacts to promote company services.
  • Assist with RFI, RFP, Costings, and Work Orders.
  • Position requires 25%-30% of travel.
  • Advanced degree within Life Sciences is preferred.
  • 7+ years of industry experience in large pharma as well as CROs.
  • 5-7 years of management experience.
  • Desire to build and maintain a large clinical operations group.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong communications skills are required.
