GMA Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs (Oncology)

A visionary organization with a strong grasp in the Oncology space is continuing to expand their global presence in the pharmaceutical industry. Due to their consistent growth, strong pipeline of drugs, and innovative goals they are looking for an expert in the Medical Affairs space.

GMA Associate Medical Director Responsibilities

  • Scientific generation in the Oncology (ADC or AML) space is crucial to the role focused on the clinical development process of the organization
  • Leading, developing, and execution of medical affairs strategies in alignment of engagement plans, strategies, and operational plans
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams overseeing their LCM
  • Interaction with internal and external stakeholders/partners and work on internal projects (newsletters, OL engagement plans)
  • Provide US scientific and strategic input for the global disease state
  • Maintain and enhance existing scientific collaboration and exchange with KOL's in the scientific community
  • Participate in clinical development, protocols, and proposals of approved studies while supporting the clinical research of teams
  • Provide fluid communication between the medical community regarding their current line products and future line of products
  • Review business development opportunities, serve as a member of the safety community, and participate in budgetary review processes with the US

Medical Director Qualifications

  • Accredited MD, PhD, or PharmD
  • Oncology, Immunology, or Hematology experience is strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 3-5 years industry related medical/scientific affairs experience with explicit experience in the Oncology space
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to functions with both external physicians and in-house cross functional Medical Affairs teams
  • Strong track record of innovation, problem solving abilities, and analytic skills in previous positions
  • Interest in the wonders and capabilities of the brain
