Business Development Manager / Swiss market – Lausanne

About the Company

Our client, a well-known and international FMCG organization which is present in more than 150 markets worldwide, is looking for a highly motivated expert in Sales with excellent German skills.  In this role, you will be in charge of developing business opportunities across all categories. Take this opportunity, bring your market knowledge and make an impact on the profitability, growth and market share of this multinational company.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for improving the brand’s Sales performance in the Swiss market through Key Account Management
  • Accountable for transforming into reality the business opportunities and driving customer engagement
  • Responsible for negotiations and project management regarding some of the marketing activities linked to Account Management (i.e.: negotiations prior to product launches)
  • Implement plans regarding sales and promotions across all the categories
  • Responsible for implementing the Customer Management Strategy within the defined portfolio
Skills / Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales/Key Account Management
  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Good commercial decision making
  • Previous experience in Retail, Food and Beverages or Consumer Goods sectors in Switzerland would be a strong advantage
  • Very good strategic thinking and project management skills
  • German (native level); English (fluent); French would be an asset
  • Team player
