A leading Medical Communications Agency company is seeking an experienced Account Manager based in the United Kingdom, near Manchester. This global organisation is seeking to expand their Client Services team following a strong period of growth. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced client services personnel to take the next step, where they will enjoy great autonomy in their work as well as exposure to leadership responsibility as they lead more junior account staff in the team.

This global company specialises in delivering quality content across a plethora of therapeutic areas and client deliverables - so any candidate will be expected to possess experience in multiple core and niche therapeutic areas.


  • Support management across the Integrated Client Services Team; deputising for the Director, Integrated Client Services as required
  • Provide training and development support to the Integrated Client Services Team, including taking responsibility for the line management of some team members
  • Play a key role in the continuous improvement of integrated project delivery operations
  • Manage high quality medical communications projects through excellent client service
  • Be responsible for the management and delivery of high level and complex programmes of work
  • Work closely with account Scientific Director to actively contribute to account growth and be involved in new business development activities.
