Contract Manager - IT & Services Industry

Our client, a well-established global leader in banking and commerce solutions, is searching for a Contract Manager that is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing sales and specifically services and procurement contracts.

The Contract Manager will collaborate with the internal Pricing, Global Sales, CFO and Controller's Offices to ensure compliance with internal organizations under the supervisor of the legal team. The Contract Manager will develop negotiation strategies, conduct negotiations with customers or vendors, evaluate risk exposure, and make recommendations to business clients within the overall organization.

The Contract Manager will be responsible for:

  • Following execution of a contract, providing front-line contractual support for interpretation on potential disputes and accounting or revenue recognition issues
  • Reviewing, editing, and drafting responses to customer terms and conditions
  • Focusing on the software, hardware, and complex services contracts
  • Identifying risks and facilitate internal review of issues, and obtain management/legal resolution
  • Developing and presenting educational information to internal organizations regarding contracting best practices and other relevant topics

The Contract Manager has the following qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of commercial sales contracting experience
  • In-depth knowledge of services contracts including outsourcing, SaaS, and managed services
  • Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts or Business related fields
  • Ability to supervise and work in a collaborative team environment
