Company Summary: A rapidly growing Real Estate Investment Trust Company is looking for a Corporate Finance Attorney to join their legal team located in Boston. My Client is currently looking for a Corporate Finance Attorney who has experience assembling Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) filings. Due to the quick growth of the company, the Corporate Finance Attorney will be a key factor in the build out and advancement of the legal team.

The Corporate Finance Attorney will be responsible for:

  • Helping the Corporate Finance team with adjustments in securities law and corporate practice and overall corporate and securities law subjects.
  • Composing and reviewing Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) filings.
  • Providing advice on compliance with federal securities laws as well as disclosure and reporting necessities, specifically SEC and NYSE laws and obligations.
  • The Corporate Finance Attorney will administer legal support for corporate finance transactions. This includes debt financings, private and public securities offerings, regional financing matters, and derivatives transactions.

The Corporate Finance Attorney should have the following qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) with 3+ years of legal experience working with financing transactions, federal securities laws, compliance issues, and corporate law.
  • Experience with federal securities laws and compliance. The Corporate Finance Attorney should have a background working on legal financing transactions, corporate law, as well as deep knowledge and understanding of NYSE rules and regulations.
  • Capable of drafting and reviewing reports filed with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) and aiding with capital market financings.
  • The Corporate Finance Attorney should be familiar with Workiva or a comparable filing software.
