Our client, a leading global chemicals manufacturing company, is currently looking for a Demand Planner. This position will be responsible for utilizing demand planning and forecasting tools whilst working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and external customers to improve supply chain performance.

Demand Planner Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a statistical forecast, analyze sales data, and conduct root cause analysis for variances.
  • Accomplish tasks corresponding with Vendor Managed Inventory such as item level forecasting, data synchronization, and service level analysis.
  • Use demand history including sell through and shipment data to develop forecasts.
  • Collaboratively work with the Sales team to ensure promotional programs are fully developed.
  • Accountable for achieving SKU level forecast accuracy.Demand Planner Qualifications:

Demand Planner Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a demand planning and forecasting role.
  • 2+ years in manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Business is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Demand solutions software is a plus.
