Job Summary:

A cutting-edge biotechnology company specializing in cancer immunotherapy is looking to add to its growing Alliance Management team at the Director level. The Director of Alliance Management will be responsible for developing the business strategy and managing multiple collaborations to ensure maximized success. This person will oversee contractual obligations as well as execute on a successful alliance management strategy for each collaboration.

This is a growth hire due to recent funding and expansion plans. The Director of Alliance Management will serve as a senior member of the Alliance Management team in a crucial leadership position responsible for support short-term and long-term objectives based on corporate strategy and goals. This is a highly visible role with communication to senior leaders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic alliances across pharmaceutical partners

  • Manage multiple collaborations (clinical to commercial stage) to ensure successful partnerships

  • Prepare agendas, manage partner meetings and facilitate communication across the business

  • Serve as the lead for any alliance-related matters

  • Identify opportunities for new business as well as potential future issues

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Alliance Management experience (specific to pharma partnerships).

  • Alliance experience in clinical stage programs with expertise throughout commercialization

  • Prior experience creating and executing on alliance management best practices in the pharma/biotech industry is required

  • Thorough understanding of the drug development and commercialization process and essential activities across all key functional areas

  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA or PhD)

  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • Positive, energetic attitude and initiative with strong work ethic. Proactive and self-motivated to find and take on new projects that support team goals.

  • Ability to effectively set priorities, handle multiple projects and follow-through on deadlines with minimal supervision.
