Director in DMPK & Translational Modeling required for top rapidly growing oncology lab

A top oncology lab out of California is seeking a highly motivated and credible individual to join their team that has influenced a wide variety of clinicians and scientists in their fight against cancer. After working on hundreds of clinical trials they’ve dealt with numerous types of cancers studied.


Objective: To maintain high levels of research in a developing and important field of study, while adding to a team of already successful scientists and clinicians dedicated to vital research. Delivering excellence and adding to the success of this quickly growing lab is ultimately the goal moving forward.

  • Experience within preclinical trials
  • PK/TK assessments for IND filing as well as development of PK and DMPK Translational Modeling
  • Managing and supervising the clinical team
  • Experience within DMPK-TM, BA studies, and PKPD modeling
  • Must be able to build strong networks with emerging science practices and keeping up to date with translational modeling
  • Collaboration with consortia, academic partners, and CROs to help add to the success of the lab
  • Education: Bachelors (B.A./B.S,), Masters or Doctorate in PKPD modeling, pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
  • Experience: 16+ (BS), 14+ (MS) or 8+ (PhD) years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Must have a strong understanding of DPMK, PBPK/PKPD modeling, and human dose prediction of biologics/ADCs as well as clear understanding of preclinical and clinical studies. 15+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Other: Publication record with PKPB/PKPD modeling examples required. Strong communication skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Highly motivated and excellent networking skills to adhere to the culture and ambition of the given lab practice is sought after but not required.
