My client is a specialist alternative asset manager with over $5B in AUM that is focused on all aspects of credit and structured credit within the European markets.

They are seeking an experienced New York City based sales professional with knowledge of the credit markets, strong communication and relationships skills, as well as proven track record of raising capital in both liquid and illiquid alternative products.

The successful candidate will focus on fundraising within North America for the firm's full suite of strategies. The candidate will work closely with the existing team to identify, target and meet with institutional investors and the consultant community.

The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, bring enthusiasm and creativity to the role, and must be able to understand and present multiple complex strategies that. This person must enjoy the full sales process including prospecting, identifying needs, presenting, and ultimately gaining commitment and providing timely and thoughtful follow-ups.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of business development experience within the credit space
  • Possess excellent senior level investor relationships built up through current or previous roles
  • Strong product knowledge with an emphasis on credit.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the confidence to present to clients of all sizes.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent quality of written documents.
