As part of our world-class team you will:
  • Write business plans including a list of potential clients for marketing and business development activities.
  • Review and enhance existing clinical operations governing documents (covering Clinical Project Management, Clinical Site Management, and Monitoring).
  • Generate and secure clinical operations business.
  • Develop business proposals (RFI, RFP, etc.) and lead bid defense meetings.
  • Plan, hire, train, and mentor Clinical Operations, personnel. Perform staff performance management, periodic performance evaluations, and career development planning
  • Manage client accounts and perform client relationship management.
  • Oversee client contracts and contract amendments.
  • Oversee internal clinical operations to deliver quality and timely deliverables to clients.
  • When required, perform project management and/or clinical site monitors’ roles/duties to enable and ensure strong performance of the clinical operations teams.
  • Perform budget and resource planning for the responsible business areas, control and report project level and departmental budget spend.
  • Develop working relationships with potential investigators, investigational sites, key opinion leaders, in various therapeutic areas, and vendors needed to support clinical trials.
In order to be most effective in this role, which is at our largest manufacturing facility worldwide, you will need to possess the following:
  • At least 10 years of clinical operations experience and 5 years in a management role.
  • Ability to substantiate a successful experience across all phases of clinical trials (I-IV).
  • Proven leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are required.
  • Strong command of chemical literature.
This is a full-time, permanent position located in New Jersey.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
