A leading Pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Medical Affairs Director to join their management team in Switzerland. This individual will support the Medical Affairs programme and lead a large team. This role reports directly to the VP of Medical Affairs.

The company is a respected member of the Pharmaceutical world, with aim of delivering innovative solutions to patients across a number of therapeutic areas.

 

Responsibilities:

 
  • Supports the Medical Affairs Global team  with regard to ongoing Medical Affairs activities
  • Works in close collaboration with teams in Regulatory, Clinical, and Safety
  • Collaborate with all Senior Management within Switzerland
  • Lead a large collaborative Medical team
  • Acts as an internal expert on the Medical Affairs for Switzerland
  • Contributes to the Medical part of meeting requests with KOL’s
  • Represent the company with Scientific leaders
  • Ensure Compliance with Internal and External Regulations and act as a member of the Compliance committee
 

Requirements:

 
  • MD Educated or equivalent
  • 6+ Years Medical Affairs Leadership Experience
  • Direct management Experience
  • Experience collaborating closely with Regulatory, Clinical and Safety teams
  • Country or Regional Medical Affairs responsibility
  • Good Drug Development and Lifecycle management Experience
  • Good Knowledge of Local, regional and Global Laws
  • Broad Therapeutic area Experience
  • Experience in a Matrix Structure
  • Fluent In English and German with strong Communication skills in both
