The Dir. Scientific Communications oversees all aspects of Medical and Scientific communication deliverables, including scientific platforms, publication planning and execution, medical information, and review of medical and promotional materials.  They serve as a key cross-functional partner and collaborator both within Medical Affairs, and across the business, and represent the medical perspective on brand and other strategic teams. They lead development of congress strategy and planning, including medical education, publications and booth development. 

This role oversees and manages all vendors critical to the execution of these deliverables, while remaining fully accountable to the development and delivery of high quality, compliant and aligned communications.  This position is for an independent, proactive, experienced scientist who will be supervising and interacting with many vendors including medical communication agencies and our outsourced call centers. This role will collaborate closely with external authors and external experts in therapeutic areas of strategic importance, requiring effective communication and execution with the goal of driving successful publications and other communication deliverables.
