A growing civil engineering firm is seeking an up and coming engineering water resource project manager based in Texas.

Responsibilities:
  • Interacting with clients
  • Explaining scope and requirements at the clients’ comfort level
  • Providing direction and assistance throughout the project life cycle
  • Helping the client understand how changes affect the budget
  • Developing and supervising engineering work of municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects
    • Planning/Studies
    • Design
    • Construction
    • Preparing preliminary engineering reports that meet the requirements of funding agencies
    • Preparing bidding documents for municipal public works project
  • Determining the scope of work involved and planning, conducting and supervising the engineering work of the project team
  • Providing municipal engineering expertise to other individuals and work groups within the firm, which may involve the adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria
  • Interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating engineering projects that have unique and complex criteria
  • Planning, developing, coordinating and directing large and important projects of major scope and importance
  • Supervising technical staff members
Skills and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Six years of relevant, progressive experience in the civil engineering industry with an emphasis on stormwater projects
  • Professional Engineering license in the state of Indiana (or the ability to acquire a license in Texas through reciprocity)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong ability to work with a team
