My client, an independent elite boutique investment bank, is actively seeking both experienced Analyst and Associate level investment banking professionals to join their Power & Infrastructure team of banking professionals in their New York City Office. If you are an investment banking professional at the Analyst or Associate level with a background and/or interest in the Power/Infrastructure space this could be a great opportunity for you! My client will consider applicants with investment banking experience with a background in other related sectors as long as the have M&A transaction experience.

The role will involve the following:

  • Preparing and delivering presentations

  • Performing extensive valuation and pricing analyses

  • Investment banking coverage of corporate and private equity clients, including pitching and structuring

  • Playing key leadership roles in the transaction process

  • Taking primary responsibility for deal execution of Power & Infrastructure transactions

  • Mentoring and training analyst level bankers

  • Initiating new client relationships and expanding a business franchise within the Power & Infrastructure sector

Requirements:

  • Must have a good number of years of investment banking/m&a experience

  • Power & Infrastructure sector experience is preferred, but not essential

  • Public and Private deal experience a plus

  • Sell-side M&A transaction experience

  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills

  • Strong client management skills

  • Team player and ability to work independently as well

  • Strong technical and communication skills

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
