  • Lead a team of analysts to execute and deliver tasks as per timelines
  • Develop analysts and grow employee engagement, focusing on career development and developing and implementing training
  • Ensure the high quality of the analysts' work product
  • Conduct detailed analysis of loan opportunities across various sectors in different geographies
  • Develop detailed financial models comprising transaction details, financial statement analysis, projections, credit metrics, amongst others
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis on projections - for stress testing on loans for serviceability
  • dentify deal specific covenants which can act as early warning signals while monitoring loans
  • Draft credit reports with key takeaways on opportunity; report must be concise and well-presented/formatted for ease of uptake by credit and risk teams
  • Conduct detailed industry/market studies to understand operating environment of borrower
  • Monitor borrower performance on an ongoing basis and producing periodic review reports, including annual reviews
  • Manage resource allocation to optimise service delivery to the markets
  • Contribute to the success of a learning organisation through continuous self-development, teamwork and contribution to organisational improvement through recruiting, developing and retaining talent
  • Interact with clients to discuss data gaps, inconsistencies, analytical frameworks, etc.
  • Coordinate with product teams to explain credit specific requirements in order to recommend and evolve product features

REQUIREMENT:

  • Over 10 years' experience in undertaking credit analysis with a focus on writing credit reports and creating financial models on businesses within various sectors
  • Very strong credit analysis capabilities and experience, ideally in a commercial lending setting
  • Team management experience
  • The capability of managing client communication, e.g. identifying data gaps, data inconsistencies, presenting findings, etc.
  • Exposure working in corporate lending, investment banks (research units), asset managers, direct lenders, etc.
  • Personal drive; you are an independent thinker who can manage tasks in a less structured environment
  • A results-driven mindset
  • A hands-on attitude, willing/capable to understand the big picture
  • The ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily workGood knowledge of Greater China banking regulations and key data sources (e.g. WIND)
  • A strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
