Role Responsibilities for Junior Bunker Trader:

  • To act as a trader/broker for the supply of fuel to third parties through the development and maintenance of long term business relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Proactively source new clients as well as managing relationships with existing clients.
  • Undertake negotiation processes with clients.
  • Remain up to date with the current markets.
  • Efficiently liaise with the team on all internal and external developments.
  • Maintaining and improving the Bunker Trading Platform.

Individual Skills for Junior Bunker Trader:

  • Educated to a bachelor's degree level or equivalent.
  • Experience within a commercial marine role is not mandatory but would be advantageous.
  • Written and spoken English language skills are essential due to the target client base.
  • Proven ability to develop business.
  • A track record in sales would be beneficial.
