This role will ensure that clients and customers in Singapore are onboarded in accordance to internal and local regulatory and AML/KYC policies, procedures, and frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of KYC and AML regulations, FATCA and CRS regulations, industry.

Key responsibilities for the KYC and Client Onboarding Role:

  • Work with clients and customers to ensure all KYC and Client Onboarding documentation meets the protocols put in place by the business

  • Facilitate such KYC and Onboarding activities in a customer-focused, efficient manner

  • Ensure a robust, risk-based AML/KYC framework is in place for the business

  • Conduct regular tests and reviews to ensure that these procedures are compliant with the relevant local and international KYC and broader Compliance policies and procedures

  • Provide training and technical advice on proper KYC, on-boarding activities, AML risks, best practices, and steps towards mitigation to senior management and staff

  • Provide KYC training to all senior management and front office staff members to ensure awareness of standardised practices, the right way to carry these out, and making sure of thoroughness in information gathering/documentation for KYC/on-boarding purposes

  • Develop and maintain strong, productive and effective relationships with all business units, internal, and external stakeholders, locally and globally

Requirements for the KYC and Client Onboarding Role:

  • At least 5-8 years of industry experience

  • At least an undergraduate degree

  • SME knowledge of current regulatory frameworks impacting Markets client-onboarding
