Our client, located in Northern California, is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing products to treat pain and other central nervous system conditions. They are looking to hire a Manager/Senior Manager, Access Marketing to develop and execute patient access programs ensuring optimal access of the firm’s portfolio to patients.


The ideal person will be responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s access programs with sales, brand marketing, Managed Care Account Team, key specialty pharmacy partners and vendors. The focus will be supporting Pain, Oncology, and Neurology branded products.

This person will be reporting into the Senior Director of Access Marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads all aspects for access programs, including timelines, creation of promotion materials, and training of internal stakeholders and field based professionals such as Managed Markets and Trade, Sales Force and Marketing
  • Brand and rebrand, launch and relaunch of products and evaluate growth opportunities
  • Manages daily engagement with the firm’s sales team, specialty pharmacy partners and copay vendors to ensure synergies amongst access programs
 

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience
  • Previous experience in marketing or access marketing with channel partners
  • Ability to formulate complex and comprehensive data and materials to make formal presentations. 
  • Ability to understand opposing points of view on highly complex issues and be able to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to prepare and analyze data and figures
