Our client is a leader in the industry and has exceeded market expectations. They are currently looking for a Director of Marketing for their Oncology portfolio who will manage the targets that are set within the organization. The individual will be responsible for planning, developing and executing highly effective demand creation strategies and lead programs that drive sales activity and pipeline growth.

The Marketing Director, Oncology will establish and manage a highly effective marketing organization to develop strategies for growth and deliver a global unified brand for the firm. This individual will be responsible for interfacing with the field teams, leading meetings, and managing initiatives with oncology organizations and hospitals.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists Brand Director and Strategic Planning team in development of the Brand Plan Global product responsibility
  • Report into Executive Director, Oncology
  • Lead the development of the promotion plan and execution of launch plans for new indications
  • Set lead targets, and ensure lead quality to create conversion
  • Relies on experience and good judgment to accomplish goals
  • Forecast long term business strategies for long term revenue generation
  • Website and digital strategy development and execution
 Requirements:
  • 7+ years in Marketing in the life sciences
  • Degree in life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.) – preference is an MBA but not strictly required
  • Experience with focus on marketing or sales including developing market strategies and executing tactics, and responsibility for revenues
  • Ability to work as a liaison between different departments and organizations
  • Field management experience
  • Knowledge of Oncology
  • Leadership across teams and business units
  • Extensive network within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse and assess set business targets
