An American biotech specialising in Immuno-Oncology is expanding into Europe and is looking for someone with a strong network in medical affairs and Oncology experience to support their expansion in the EU. 

Two lead products and several in the development pipeline they have a well-established team leading their operations in the US and with a recent positive phase III and IIa result they now aim to increase involvement globally, starting with Europe. European Medical Affairs Director you will be responsible for:
  • Executive the organisation's strategy and implement in Europe and provide the CMO with the best input and strategy regarding European operations
  • Comfortable educating all areas of the team from Board and C-level to junior entry level about the challenges in Europe and differences
  • Bringing KOL engagement and support building the team in Europe
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and be responsible for the creation of novel best-practice proposals.
  • Provide support and offer unique insights during medical activities at medical and scientific conferences.
  • Attend key events and congresses and to support pre and post launch activities
  The Ideal Medical Affairs Director will need;
  • A Medical Doctorate or PhD  (or equivalent)
    Extensive track record of leading teams in Europe and supporting launches in the Immuno-Oncology space
  • Record of building engagement strategies and communicating results to senior staff and managing the more junior staff
  • Confident supporting congress and attending key events on behalf of the company 
    A willingness to travel internationally and openness to various cultures
  The package will include;
