A transformative healthcare organization is looking for new ways to improve approaches to oncology care in order to increase the productivity and well being of cancer patients. Data and cognitive computing are becoming more and more important in today’s healthcare technology systems and a U.S. based health and technology firm are seeking a board certified oncologist to add value within their analytics and patient care team in order to serve as a key opinion leader in this area. This person will work alongside other oncologists as well as the analytics teams to ensure advancement in cancer treatment. 

This firm is one of few players in this space that deals purely with oncology treatment and they are seen not only as a specialist in this area but also as a global leader. This is a growth hire due to recent expansion and funding within this department. This person will work alongside the Head of Healthcare Technology in addition to other medical oncologists. This opportunity allows for extremely fast career progression potential with the chance of being one of the leaders in terms of the strategic direction of the team.

  • Providing clinical leadership and support to the delivery of healthcare solutions for cancer treatment.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders and clinicians in order to generate adoption strategies for innovative informatics and technology insights in a healthcare setting.
  • Leading change management activities from project initiation to post go-live optimization to assure clinical adoption
  • Guiding delivery teams to ensure clinical relevant approach to client engagements
  • Collaborating with corporate citizenship organizations in order to drive and execute on company’s mission for underserved, needed, and global communities.
  • Medical Degree with a Board Certification in Medical Oncology.
  • A clinician that understands major trends in healthcare, quality, and clinical workflow.
  • Detail oriented individual with strong negotiating skills.
  • Positive, energetic attitude and initiative with strong work ethic. Proactive and self-motivated to find and take on new projects that support team goals. 
  • Strong leadership, team building, and people skills.
  • Good understanding of computational healthcare solutions and informatics.
  • Experience with key opinion leaders in medical oncology.
