JOB TITLE: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Oncology

This really exciting Biotech company is looking an experienced MSL to join their ever-growing team within the Oncology Space.  


The MSL will act as a liaison to the medical/scientific community and will be responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders. They will also act as the main point of contact within the Region overseeing Spain and working on a Global scale to collaborate with team members across Europe. The Role will be cross functional and will be consists of tasks typical of a National MSL and Medical Advisor. You will be working with the Clinical Development Team whilst retaining a Medical Affairs focus.    

               
RESPONSIBILITIES:


• The MSL will ensure the appropriate dissemination of clinical and scientific information regarding marketed and pipeline compounds in a timely, ethical and customer-focused manner.


• The MSL will implement medical strategies in collaboration with other colleagues for designated customers that include potential clinical trial site identification and support as well as a review of investigator-initiated research protocols.


• The position will be home based and requires approximately 60% travel.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
  • Advanced Scientific degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Postdoctoral experience, or equivalent, in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred) or other healthcare environment to provide strategic and scientific/medical direction to national/regional business unit functions.
  • Previous experience within Oncology is preferred but not necessary. 
  • Previous experience in an MSL Field Medical based position is essential.
  • Ability to travel extensively. 
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills 
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
