Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina


12 Month contract – (possible 2-year extension)


A large multi-national drug company is looking to add a talented Medical Writer to their already reputable team. Make your mark on a multitude of clinical trials as you prepare, assemble, write and review a variety of integral analyses and documents.  This Medical Writer will work closely with other Senior Medical Writers to further the aim of the company and create effective regulatory documents.


As a Medical Writer, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of operations related to trial results throughout the product’s development lifecycle. This includes overall medical writing support for ongoing programs, preparation of clinical study documents and quality-checking all necessary documents.


 


What You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline and 5-7 years industry experience OR Master’s degree in a scientific discipline and 2-5 years industry experience.
  • Previous experience at a pharmaceutical or Clinical CRO company
  • Advanced writing competency, positive and proactive communication skills, and high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent understanding of clinical trial disclosure and transparency requirements and how they relate to the clinical development process
