OEM Sales Manager West Coast - Structural Heart Space

The KAM position is a commercial role responsible for maintaining and growing the existing business. The KAM will promote the growth of new relationships and opportunities in the medical stent space. This is a senior level field sales position focused on direct OEM relationships and channels to market. The position has responsibility for significant revenue and accountability within the business.


The primary responsibility of this Key Account Manager role will be to serve as the sole point of contact for selected OEM accounts within the territory.

This will involve…

  • Preparation of a territory business plan with short, mid, and long term goals
  • Develop a clear understanding of the entire customer development cycle both current and future with the plans and goals to increase business
  • Work as part of the team to provide the best customer solutions and experience with internal account counterparts for globally located accounts
  • Excellent customer relations through building great value throughout business cycle
  • Maintain accurate, meaningful, and complete CRM data relative to: lead referral, opportunity, forecasts, and other information as required by Management as scheduled

Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelors in Engineering or Science
  • 5+ years sales experience in medical device and solutions
  • 8+ years in sales in life sciences space

Other Skills

  • Clear understanding of the life science markets-diagnostics, bio-tech, medical, and analytical markets
  • Effective negotiation and sales strategy skills
  • Develop business case for customer projects to present internally
  • Ability to influence cross functionally
  • Proven experience leading large, complex projects
