Performance Engineer

Rail Industry looking for a Performance Engineer to help gather employees to comprehend the company's current processes, identify waste, and form ideas for improvement while leading Kaizen events.

The Performance Engineer will be reporting back to the Manager Operational Performance. The candidate will be leading small/large Kaizen events and leading teams throughout the whole timeline of the process. Looking for someone who will support the development for the company's Lean Operating for Continuous Improvement.

The Performance Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist large and small Kaizen events

  • Provide lean training and support the development of training modules

  • Provide daily coaching and guidance to inspire the development of lean

  • Communicate and share good ideas implemented by the teams

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, or related fields.

  • 4 + years of experience in performing continuous improvement activities within an industrial environment

  • Formal lean training / education

  • Demonstrated facilitation of kaizen and/or problem solving events delivering results
