My Client is a middle-market Private Equity firm in New York City, New York (NYC). They have an established track record and focus on Private Equity investments in the Healthcare and Consumer Sectors. Their current fund size is $1 B AUM.

They are looking to add a strong, Senior Associate to their team that has experience with Private Equity transactions. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of Private Equity experience at a well-regarded fund and at least two (2) years of Prior Investment Banking, Consulting, or related work experience. This candidate will also have experience with either a Generalist platform, Healthcare or Consumer Industry Sectors.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Playing key leadership roles in the Private Equity transaction execution process
  • Assisting in all steps of the transaction process
  • Review financial information and attests to assess portfolio risk and profitability
  • Speak and interact directly with clients
  • Assisting in preparation of goals and career development plans for junior staff
  • Ability to source and lead new Private Equity investments
  • Track and maintain prospect database/lists
  • Helping manage and maintain client relationships
  • Prepare/review work paper files, management fee calculations, sources/uses of cash, allocations, and investor notices

  • High undergraduate GPA from top school
  • M&A/Private Equity transaction experience required
  • Prior Investment Banking or Consulting experience
  • Strong communication and modeling skills
  • Have the ability to originate and bring business to the firm
  • Exposure to Healthcare or Consumer Industry Sectors
  • Project management skills with ability to multi-task
  • Organizational and time management skills
