Real Estate Lawyer - Transactional & Financing Focus 

A boutique Pan-European Real Estate Investment Manager is currently looking to hire an ambitious & motivated Real Estate (Finance/Transactions) Lawyer for their growing London office. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance & Transactions, the Real Estate Associate will assist in all transaction and legal aspects of structuring, financing, closing, managing, restructuring, refinancing and profitably exiting real estate investment transactions.

The Role:
  • Co-ordination of external transaction and legal professionals to drive transactions to a close, including the establishment of ownership structure and all documentation.
  • Review, markup and negotiation (with investment team) of acquisition, finance and structure and joint venture documentation.
  • Legal and transaction support to asset management and investment teams on restructuring and refinancing of investments, as well as exits.
  • New business support, including new overseas operations. 
  • Ad hoc support to Managing Partner and New Business team in establishing new fund structures.
Key Requirements

Our client is seeking a candidate that is able to demonstrate passion, perseverance and the ability to work in a diverse and highly collegiate environment. In addition to this, the following expertise is required:

  • At least two years’ PQE, preferably within a leading UK or US firm. 
  • An in-depth understanding/experience in real estate transactions and property finance, ideally both in the UK and overseas.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a changing workload. 
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel if required.
