Phaidon International is an award winning international staffing firm. Our US HQ office located in New York City is looking to hire a front of house Receptionist.

You will be the first point of contact in our office, providing solid support and working alongside fellow team members to create a smooth-running host desk.

Receptionist position will involve:
  • Answering telephone calls, transferring calls to the relevant people, and taking messages.
  • Greeting visitors at the door.
  • Handling mail and accepting incoming couriers.
  • Helping to prepare for meetings and booking meeting rooms.
  • Keeping track of office inventory.
  • Liaising directly with our Travel Agent to book travel and accommodations for staff.
  • Booking catering for in house events.
  • Managing the upkeep of communal facilities for a busy, active, and social team.
  • Making daily bank deposits.
  • Researching venues for company events.
Receptionist requirements:
  • Administrative experience a plus, but not necessary.
  • Computer literacy; proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Good communication skills and telephone manner.
  •  ‘Can do!’ attitude.
  • Organization, multitasking, and customer service skills.
