In 4 years we have grown from 7 people working in an office the size of a shoebox, in Manhattan, to almost 200 employees in North America working across offices in New York, San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago.

Following this growth, we are now looking for a forward thinking Sales Trainer to join the established, top-performing team based in Manhattan. The focus of this role is to deliver and develop all sales training in line with local Business Strategy and to ensure the alignment of all sales training with the global Learning and Development strategy. You will play an integral part of ensuring that the business hits the projected growth plans that we have over the next two years (which will see us increase headcount in North America to 400+ and open at least 2 more offices).

This is the perfect role for someone who is already delivering expert sales training and looking to join a medium-sized business that is growing exponentially. This role will provide you with the opportunity to make a direct impact on the growth and development of the business.

This role will be based in Manhattan but there will be frequent travel to other offices.

The Role:

Evaluation

You will continually evaluate training in line with the business and market changes to identify areas in need of development. You will evaluate the effectiveness of new and existing multi-strand training methods alongside evaluating employee eligibility for sales training programs based on development frameworks. You will track and monitor the performance of all employees that have been through training at all levels.

Corporate Training

You will identify gaps in employee skills and knowledge and develop new material in line with legislative and market changes alongside updating development frameworks, assessments, and job descriptions when needed. You will develop new expert level multi-strand sales training programs, aligned with Development Frameworks, which add value to the business. You will generate new ways of delivering corporate training using multi-strand medias to ensure a high quality of branding internally. You will manage the annual renewal of corporate training for all employees and identify areas of certification/audit to validate learning.

Entry-Level Sales Training

You will actively develop and deliver foundation sales training academies in full alongside complete post-training assessments. You will keep senior management abreast of any development needed alongside creating and consistently following up on development plans where needed.

Expert Sales Training

You will effectively deliver all expert sales training to a gold standard and identify key areas for development with measurable outcomes. Following training sessions, you will monitor the results to ensure that key learning objectives have been embedded. You will advise senior management on the development of the business strategy based on current skill levels within the business. You will identify opportunities for employee career fast-track using measurable actions.

Agile / 1-to-1 Training

You will actively write new sales training programs in line with legislation changes alongside generating innovative ways to deliver agile training. You will proactively identify areas where 1-to1 training is needed and consistently deliver 1-to-1 training sessions in line with development frameworks. You will actively develop and link management level 1-to-1 training to business strategies in line with the company's 3-year plan. You will support future growth through action-orientated feedback to senior management. You will be able to customize training sessions to the individual based on their learning styles.

Required Experience:
  • 2+ years experience in delivering and developing Sales Training.
  • Previous experience work experience in a Staffing or Recruitment business is desired although not essential.
