My client is a Managed Service and Security Provider (MSSP), is seeking a Sales / Business Development Representative for the MSSP group. The role of our Sales Representative is to increase sales by establishing new business opportunities selling industry leading cybersecurity solutions and managed service plans.
To expand further, we are looking for a Sales Representative that has a track record of making sophisticated technology sales happen in a competitive market.
Successful Sales Representative are proficient at making outbound calls to qualified leads as well as generating their own leads, writing effective emails, social selling, generating interest, qualifying prospects and most importantly closing sales.
**This role may be remote with extensive travel to client sites throughout the United States.** Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage new sales opportunities through lead follow-up
- Create additional sales opportunities by researching, Identifying and soliciting
- Authoring winning proposals
- Perform effective demos to prospects
- Create a sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports
- Close sales and achieve monthly quotas
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (5+ years of sales experience)
- 1+ years of current cyber security sales experience
- 3+ years of current sales experience with consistent sales results
- Prior experience selling managed IT services is a plus
- A proven track record of achieving/over-achieving quota
- Highly motivated and results-oriented
- Ability to self-generate leads and close sales
- Self-motivated and a professional attitude.
- Excellent communication, business acumen and presentation skills
- Ability to travel as required
