Senior Manager, Sales Operations
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 + bonus + excellent benefits

We are partnered with one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies on an urgent hire for a Senior Manager of Sales Operations. This is a growth hire due to recent funding and expansion plans. The Senior Manager, Sales Operations provide insights on Incentive Compensation (IC), sales force sizing and targeting, alignment, and call planning. This is an insights-driven strategy role responsible for providing evidence-based decision making. This role will act as a strategic partner and provide senior leadership with strong guidance and recommendations based on analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial organization analyses including sales force sizing, alignment and call planning and targeting.

  • Provide assessment of Sales Reps by tracking various key metrics (sales, call data etc.); Assess effectiveness and impact of targeting efforts

  • Use of programming and software to create processes in support of IC and Call Planning

  • Use of territory alignment software such as Javelin Territory Designer, TerrAlign, or similar

  • Work with Sales Leadership to drive the creation of fair, accurate and motivating incentive plans, goals, awards and contests aligned with corporate objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of commercial analytics experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.

  • Strong background in Incentive Compensation, Call Planning or Territory Alignment.

  • Advanced knowledge of SAS software.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, Tableau and VBA preferred.

  • Deep knowledge of Pharmaceutical data including IMS DDD, Xponent data, and charge back data

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate concepts clearly.

  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
