Describe the job: Senior Project Manager CapEx

A Global Pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced senior project manager to be based on Switzerland. The company is about to go through a strategic restructure in their engineering department and created this greenfield function.

Responsibilities:

  • Support large and complex capital expenditure (CapEx) projects at the 7 EMEA sites
  • Manage capital project scope, budget, and schedule through project life cycle and multiple projects concurrently.
  • Develop project scopes, reliable cost estimates and coordinate activities with support function
  • Lead and coordinate project design and development of project documentation as well as start-up, commissioning, validation and closeout of the project.
  • Contribute to the execution of our Life Science strategy, preparing the EMEA sites within the cluster for future business and requirements.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Master's degree in engineering
  • Min 6-8 years of professional experience with a profound knowledge of quality regulations
  • Significant skills and experience in project management and a history of successfully executed CapEx projects
  • Project management certification preferred
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Travel 20-40% (depending on project location)
