Recruiter Responsibilities:
- Work with companies ranging from start ups to Fortune 10 to identify openings and recruitment needs
- Recruiters must act as a consultant to both the candidate and the client to ensure a smooth hiring process all the way through helping to negotiate the entire job offer
- Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
- Conduct interviews and filter candidates for open executive-level positions.
- Collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs
- Specialize in a given niche market to become a household name in the industry
Recruiter Skills Required:
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter and strong knowledge of the recruitment industry
- Expertise in full desk recruiting including both candidate and client generation preferred
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
- Ability to quickly build rapport with senior stakeholders
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
