Cloud Security Start-Up

$200,000+ Base plus Commissions & Stock!

An early-stage SaaS Security Vendor in the cloud space, that has recently come out of Stealth Mode and already received two rounds of funding, is looking to add their first Sales Engineer to the dynamic team! The Principal Sales Engineer will be a trusted technical advisor to a wide range of customers from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises and as such, must be adaptable and ready for anything.


Core Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.

  • Own the technical relationship with customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.

  • Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate the value provided in customer/partner environments.

  • Recommend security best practices, cloud architecture, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete cloud security solution

  • Work with the Executive team in defining the go-to-market strategy as well as developing a growth plan for the SE team

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing sales engineer role

  • Security Vendor Experience (preferably in the endpoint or incident response space)

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, private clouds, VMs, and containerized application architecture.

  • Experience in and understanding of cloud deployments - especially as it relates to security and compliance requirements.

  • Proven success in presenting and delivering technical pitches to CISOs, architects, and technical staff.

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred

  • Start-Up Experience & having a go-getter mentality!

  • Previous DevOps/DevSecOps experience is a huge plus!
