Senior Sales Engineer | Threat Intel | Industrial Security

A rapidly growing cybersecurity vendor is looking for an expert Senior Sales Engineer to help solve the world's industrial security issues with rapid detection and response toward neutralizing any potentially harmful cyber threats on any industrial platform. To be successful as the Senior Sales Engineer, you must be self-motivated and comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere of an agile technical security organisation. As a Senior Sales Engineer you will need to maintain a creative and adaptive approach with the ability to close opportunities in accordance with the Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate products and services to customers and clients on site, via telecommute, and at conferences and trade shows

  • Proactively manage evaluation and deployment support

  • Effectively present solutions via live presentations and remote webinars

  • Conduct research in security and big data technologies to identify trends, best practices, and potential gaps in industry offerings.

  • Work cross-functionally to support QA, Solutions Consultants, and Development Teams to resolve business and product issues.

  • Support projects via engineering, testing, implementation, and integration.


  • Engage with strategic customers to better understand the industrial environment in which products are used

  • Articulate trends in industrial security industry, product/component technology trends and identify product/solution innovation opportunities

  • Synthesize customer insights, quantitative and qualitative data, and business strategy into product concepts and requirements

  • Define roadmap for constituent products and platforms

  • Participate in the development process to provide in-depth customer requirements to Engineering and execution


  • At least 5 years' experience in sales support for security products

  • At least 5 years of experience working in Industrial verticals (Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy...etc) and a strong understanding of ICS, SCADA and Automation

  • Knowledge of more than one of the primary security technologies and applications preferred - Next Generation Firewall, intrusion prevention, security management, SIEM, endpoint detection & response, advanced threats.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful business value

  • Experience in building, designing, or delivering software in an agile-driven development model.

  • Experience as a product owner highly preferred

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology and decisions simply

  • BA/BS degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related experiences, MBA a plus
