Strategic Client Advisor - Account Management

Phaidon International's Preferred Partnership Program is looking to add an experienced Account Executive, Strategic Client Advisor. This position will be responsible for owning Phaidon's most important client relationships within our Financial Services brand, Selby Jennings. These clients include global investment banks, hedge funds, and other leading financial services firms. The SCA will engage in the cultivation of existing clients with the aim of increasing and expanding Phaidon's existing presence with them, as well as identify opportunities for new business and the next wave of potential key clients.

The role will have varied responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Autonomously owning Phaidon's key client relationships firmwide from talent acquisition to MD level managers
  • Leveraging existing relationships and partnership history across those clients to conduct new business development and break into n ew lines of business
  • Partnering with internal teams and indirectly oversee the production on a large salesfloor and other regional offices to ensure the placement of candidates into active client requisitions
  • Establishing efficient and optimized communication and working processes for active roles across the business, ensuring delivery into the Preferred Partnership accounts
  • Ensuring Phaidon is partnering with those clients (Preferred Partners) at the highest agreeable commercial terms
  • Establishing senior and stakeholder relationships at each client and interfacing regularly with them via phone, face to face meetings, networking events and referrals
  • Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities
  • Becoming a "subject matter expert" for industry coverage groups across the US business and having the background knowledge of each client, as well as respective recruitment processes to help consultants close deals and deliver on active reqs
  • Conduct business trips to other Phaidon offices to assist in securing new job opportunities for the sales team in regional locations
  • Weekly communication and correspondence with internal stakeholders and team leaders to devise plans for target clients, new business opportunities, and improvement on delivery into active job reqs

You are the right person for this job if you…

  • Have experience in Account Management and/or Business Development
  • Prior recruitment experience is not required but would be advantageous.
  • Prior industry knowledge is not required but would be advantageous.
  • Have experience hitting sales targets and being measured on revenue generation quotas
  • Enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment and interfacing with multiple individuals internally and externally on a daily basis.
