Salary: $115,000-$125,000 per annum

A multi-national and multi-disciplined engineering firm is currently seeking to hire a Structural Project Manager to lead their structural division in the heart of Boston. You will play a key part in the organisation's departmental growth and building design operations. In addition to that you will be able to work with some of the most inspirational engineers and architects in the Boston area

Key responsibilities of the Structural Project Manager include:

  • Oversee the plan, design and construction of new buildings and bridges
  • Analyse the configurations of the basic components of a structure
  • Make drawings, specifications and computer models of structures for building contractors
  • Consider the strength of particular materials, e.g. timber, concrete, steel and brick, to see how their inclusion may necessitate a change

Key requirements include:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • PE licensed
  • Proven management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or equivalent
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Business development experience a bonus
