Supply Chain Project Manager required for Global Food & Beverage Company

An Independent Franchisee of one of nation's largest Food and Beverage Companies with over 30,000 locations globally is looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager. This company is looking to add to headcount to meet the influx of demand placed upon them to increase quality, lower costs, and improve efficiency to help add to customer satisfaction

The Supply Chain Project Manager will act as a brand ambassador and manage events that are critical to both the company's as well as the franchise, they represent success. This cross functional role is a very hand on position that will have you working across all levels of supply chain including; Purchasing, Logistics, Demand Planning and Distribution. Other main functions of this position are: ingredient planning, inventory control, and New Product Introduction.

The Supply Chain Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Make sure business goals are met by developing the strategic direction, goals, objectives, and KPIs.

  • Work cross functionally to consolidate supplier production plans, contingency plans based on sales performance of promotion.

  • Work with the Purchasing Teams to ensure allocation of products correctly to avoid any gaps in supply at the Distributor level while maximizing product shelf-life and minimizing transportation costs.

  • Create and maintain relevant reports and executive summaries on a regular (daily/weekly) basis, required by management to support the business.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

  • Two years of experience in Materials/Production/Planning, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.

  • Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Engineering. PM or Lean Six Sigma training and certification preferred.

  • Demonstrated competency in a project management role, experience in executing multiple projects at once or one large project.

  • Unique Blend of business, financial, and communication skills, as this is a highly visible position with substantial impact.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence.
