Our client is a leading Bank with strong presence across Asia Pacific; we are hiring a Technology Risk Manager to support the team here in Singapore.

This role is a new hire within the team as a result of expansion within the business, and we are looking for an strong candidate with 7 plus years experience who has a keen interest in IT risk and working knowledge with Singapore Regulations and Governance from a banking or financial institution.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Handle all IT risk management matters proving advice and technical support in relation to IT infrastructure and development
  • Working with regulators to implement IT Risk management and governance activities - providing guidance and direction to senior management teams
  • Deal with operational process reviewing and monitoring compliance, ops risk and security to manage threats and promote quality assurance through the development, communication, review of IT process & policy standard
  • Ensure internal audit and perform assessment of technology controls to assess and adhere to relevant regional frameworks - handling test preparation, test execution and providing recommendations on the status of the controls and issues under test
  • Supporting new business initiatives including system planning and projects, supporting budget control and keep abreast on the latest trends on the Information Technology & risk
  • Drive business strategy through IT advancement to ensure long term business performance

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in IT Risk or related field
  • Experience in a Bank and Financial institution
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of general Risk processes and policies as well as external regulatory and IT operational audit report review
  • Working knowledge in Risk & Control Self-Assessment, Information Security and Privacy assessments, and IT audit, testing and execution
  • Excellent stakeholder management, a keen eye for detail and a strategic mind-set with business acumen
  • Sound understanding of IT Risk management, industry trends and regulatory requirements
