VP Sales, EPM Scientific - San Francisco

Salary: 150,000-180,000

The Vice President of Sales is a key leadership role in one of our rapid growth. We are seeking an industry leader with significant experience in the life sciences space. This is a truly exciting opportunity for a sales leader hungry to build and lead an enterprise sales team.

The Vice President of Sales will lead a San Francisco Sales team focused on building new business and nurturing current clients in the Life Science space. The ideal candidate has previous experience assessing and building goal-driven teams; creating and managing territory planning, pipeline reporting; and identifying sales process gaps and enabling continuous improvement in sales process and execution.


  • Build, train, develop, and mentor sales team to optimum performance. Execute growth plans in line with Lionbridge's strategic initiatives.

  • As a player coach, the VP of Sales will actively continue to build Lionbridge's footprint in the Life Science space through meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

  • Prepare and present sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, areas of proposed client base expansion, and activities towards targets.

  • Reviews and analyses sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.

  • Day to day management of the sales team ensuring they are on track for achieving KPI's. Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. Train the sales team on sales techniques and company solutions to be marketed to their account bases.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Sales Leader within the Life Science space

  • Exceptional leadership skills with previous experience building sales teams, and coaching/mentoring/inspiring high performance teams.

  • Executive presence and communication with strong ability to influence stakeholders and clients

  • Previous experience working in high-growth organizations prone to change

  • Significant experience creating and measuring KPIs and sales metrics
