LVI Associates is currently working on behalf of an organization that recently acquired two new business units that have been successful on the winning of several High Voltage Electrical Transmission & Distribution projects swelling their revenue to $100 Million. They are seeking an experienced, ambitious individual with a strong track record building relationships with Electrical Utilities who has demonstrated excellent financial control with a history of profit and growth. The client is seeking an individual to join up with the existing team in Texas and to support the President with the day to day running of the business and strategic planning for growth.    

  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
  • Direct and oversee operations in the region ensuring team goals are aligned with corporate and divisional goals.
  • Understand external customer needs and maintain and develop relationships. Ensure that every project is managed to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the pre-construction/RFP package effort with the help of the estimating department.
  • Assist President with identifying new customers, growth and staffing needs.
  • Build strong relationships within the organisation and sister companies, including business development, safety, fleet, operations, human resources and finance.
  • Mentor and develop team members; provide feedback; support internal and external opportunities to build professional and managerial skills as well as additional certification achievements.
  • Provide key role in executing troubled project recovery plans in conjunction with senior managers and project teams.
  • Oversight of financial trackers.

Skills and Experience Required
  • Highly Experienced in Line Construction
    • Having worked in a Non-Union environment previously is desired
  • Must have held an operational role previously, ideally an executive position
  • Must have right to work in the United States
  • Relationships with the following utilities is desired;
    • AEP, Duke Energy, FPL, Ohio Edison/Duke Energy/Southern Company
