VP, Management Supervisor: Promotional Medical Education

As VP, Management Supervisor you will have the opportunity to demonstrate personal leadership in Client relations and in the internal management of your key accounts. As VP, you will be the Client’s main point of contact and the agency’s representative on Medical Education strategy and execution. The VP is an expert in medical communications and is the clear strategic lead on all client projects. 

Medical Education Experience in an Agency setting is required for consideration

Your duties will include: 

Project Development
  • Develops strategic skills, masters medical education tactical planning and implementation
  • Be a strategic and tactical partner with the client by offering strategic solutions and tactical improvements for added programming success and/or efficiency
  • Ensures all content and tactics developed to support the brand positioning
  • Continually seeks brand building opportunities/ways to overcome obstacles
  • Appropriately interprets and applies both clinical and market research data
  • Participates in development of a strategic medical communications plan with alignment between issues, strategies, and tactics
  • Leads scientific and account teams in the development of breakthrough content to ensure high-quality agency output, reflective of consistently superior product
  • Champions the scientific
  • Works with team to ensure all work is delivered on time and accurately
Client Relations
  • Build and grow key relationships with client organizations to ensure strategic partnership throughout the lifecycle of a product
  • Maintains key client contact and ensures the client is kept apprised of the status of all jobs and ongoing progress
  • Attends client meetings/conventions/market research and handles timely follow-up
  • Delivers recommendations for programs, big ideas, and incremental income, and seeks opportunities to continually strengthen quality of client relations
  • Maintains financial control of all client work (estimates, jobs, fees, billing) within the guidelines of the client’s budget
  • Generates project lists for fee development
  • Prepares forecasts and updates regularly
  • Identifies opportunities to realize incremental income
  • Financially responsible for delivering the forecast
Team Building/Leadership
  • Spearheads preparation of strategic options, copy strategy, and creative
  • Provides clear direction and establishes expectations for subordinates
  • Delegates tasks as appropriate while ensuring quality meets agency standards
  • Evaluates performance of account team members and advocates for staff growth while making developmental recommendations
